I am a Retired Lt. Col United States Air Force, I served for 25 years, I am a Pilot, and a Bioenvironmental Engineer still focused on environmental compliance. I am the founder and President of Aviate Enterprises, Inc. a company with 40 personnel established in 2014. I am a 12-year Truckee resident, skier and hiker. My background is leadership and service to my country and my community, with a focus on the people I serve.

Tim's background in aviation and bioenvironmental engineering uniquely positions him to lead Truckee towards a future of sustainable airport development and increased safety measures. His dedication to public service and community well-being drives his campaign for positive change.

Mission

The mission of the Tahoe Truckee Airport District is to provide safe, high-quality services and facilities, reduce impact on our neighbors, the environment and invest in opportunities that benefit the entire region. We will reduce aircraft noise impact with technology and improve safety operations. Our tax money should benefit all residents in the Truckee region not just airport users and give back to the community.

Vision

Truckee airport is our airport to support our families with aerial fire protection, emergency aerial medical transportation, a community gathering space and a center of STEM education for youth. I understand business and aviation safety, noise abatement and environmental stewardship. We can protect our homes with fire prevention programs, increased safety procedures and reduce accidents and noise reductions. I will bring these services to the Truckee Community, with your support.

Devine for Truckee Airport Safe & Sound for Tahoe! Lieutenant Colonel, United States Air Force (Retired) I will bring firefighting aircraft to Truckee Airport to protect our homes and community. Minutes matter when responding to a fire in our backyard. Tim Devine is a Pilot, a Business Owner, and a Bioenvironmental Engineer. That's how I know environmental protection is critical for our community.

I am a homeowner in Tahoe for the past 12 years and I am an avid skier and bicyclist... I love the outdoors. I was a leader in the Air Force, A business leader, Company Owner, and now it's time to give back and serve my community on the Tahoe Truckee Airport District Board. I am proud to have built a $30 million plus business that employs, 38 amazing people from all walks of life. I will work with CalFire, U.S. Forest Service, Placer and Nevada counties to implement programs to make Truckee better able to host the aircraft that will help contain fires before they get too big. With my leadership, we will use technology to educate pilots and fly safer and quieter.

Safety - Aircraft accidents have occurred during bad weather. We need to close the airport during unsafe weather conditions.
